Great correspondence between a little girl named Wendy, Walt Disney and Walter Lantz from 1964. I don't know if I'm more shocked by Wendy's penmanship or the fact that she sent it to the wrong studio executive and still got a proper response.
A tail is a perfect extension of feline expression. There's poetry in the way a contented cat will artfully wrap her tail around her, or in the way a Balinese will proudly strut her tail like a flame behind her. Combined with the over two dozen muscles in the ears, cats are capable of being very expressive of their feelings and indicating their current mood merely through body language.
